This exceptional aged Tawny Porto is crafted from carefully selected grapes sourced from top vineyards in the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior regions. Taylor Fladgate, a leader in winemaking innovation, is among the few producers to pioneer piston fermenter technology—known as Port Toes—which enhances flavor and aroma extraction beyond traditional methods.

Fermentation is stopped early with the addition of grape spirits, preserving natural sweetness and creating a fortified wine. Wines from different vintages are then aged for years in 600-liter oak casks, gradually transforming from deep purple-black to the signature tawny hue.

As the wine matures, it develops richer, nutty characteristics and greater concentration, partly due to gradual evaporation—often referred to as the “Angel’s Share.” The 20 Year Old Tawny is a carefully blended expression, composed of wines with an average aging of two decades, delivering depth, elegance, and complexity.
