Sourced primarily from two estate vineyards—Shafer’s hillside vines surrounding the winery and the “Borderline” vineyard located two miles to the south. The blend is composed of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 3% Malbec, and 2% Petit Verdot. Aged for 20 months in 100% new French oak barrels from Allier and Tronçais forests.
