Crafted from a diverse blend of dark red grapes, The Prisoner Red Blend delivers distinctive character with a lush, smooth, and well-balanced profile. Inspired by the early Napa Valley wines made by Italian immigrants, this California red combines Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Merlot for a uniquely layered expression.
The wine opens with vibrant aromas of ripe raspberry, vanilla, and coconut, leading into rich flavors of fresh and dried blackberry and pomegranate, accented by a lingering touch of vanilla. Aging in a mix of new and seasoned French and American oak barrels enhances its depth and complexity.
