Cakebread Chardonnay Reserve Napa Valley

Chardonnay Reserve is crafted exclusively from grapes grown in Cakebread’s four estate vineyards in the Carneros district of southern Napa Valley. These cool-climate sites provide ideal conditions for producing exceptional Chardonnay, with a selection of superior clones adding depth and complexity.

The grapes are harvested at night and whole-cluster pressed, with each clone fermented and aged separately in barrel. A portion of the blend undergoes malolactic fermentation to enhance a rich, creamy texture.

Aged for 15 months in new French oak with periodic lees stirring, the wine develops layered aromas, a luxurious mouthfeel, and concentrated, refined flavors.
