The Macallan Double Cask 18 Years Old brings together two types of oak to create a beautifully balanced and refined single malt whisky. Matured in carefully selected, handcrafted casks seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry, this expression showcases the harmony between American and European oak.

American oak lends soft notes of vanilla, citrus, and butterscotch, while European oak contributes the signature subtle spice associated with The Macallan. Once matured, these two influences combine to produce a rich, smooth whisky with a warm, slightly sweet character.
