Description
Taittinger Brut La Française is a carefully crafted blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier sourced from over 35 villages. Notably, its high proportion of Chardonnay—around 40%—sets it apart among non-vintage Champagnes, contributing elegance and finesse.
The grapes are pressed immediately after hand harvesting, with presses located directly in the vineyards to preserve freshness. The juice undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation, followed by blending after the winter season. A second fermentation then takes place in the bottle within Taittinger’s cool cellars.
Aged on the lees for nearly four years—well beyond the required minimum—this extended maturation enhances its aromatic depth and complexity. The result is a refined, well-balanced Champagne, celebrated for its consistency and exceptional quality.
