Founded in 1849, Pol Roger remains one of the few prestigious Champagne houses still family-owned. Widely acclaimed, it was a favorite of Winston Churchill and was even served at the wedding of William and Kate.
The Brut Non-Vintage is crafted from a blend of approximately 30–35 base wines sourced from various vineyard sites and vintages, with 20–30% reserve wines adding depth and consistency. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and beautifully balanced—both round and fruit-driven, yet refined, pure, and elegant. A fine, persistent mousse leads to a long, crisp finish with subtle mineral notes.
Rated 95 points by James Halliday, who describes it as a standout Champagne, this blend combines equal parts Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay from 30 crus, with around 25% reserve wines and extended aging on the lees. The result is a floral bouquet, a supple texture with a touch of honey, and a refreshing Meyer lemon note that cleanses the finish.
