Description
Rooted in a legacy of innovation and excellence since 1785, Piper-Heidsieck was founded by Florens-Louis Heidsieck with the ambition to create a “cuvée worthy of a queen.” That vision came to life when he presented his first Champagne to Queen Marie Antoinette, who was said to have fallen in love at first sip. The House later became Piper-Heidsieck in 1839, and today it is renowned for its glamorous presence on the global stage, including its role as the official Champagne of the Cannes Film Festival and the Academy Awards.
Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut is a classic, well-structured, and fruit-driven Champagne, crafted from grapes sourced across 100 villages in the Champagne region. Crisp and vibrant, it offers aromas of orchard fruits, toasted bread, and subtle minerality. The palate is rich and lively, featuring flavors of black cherry, apple, pear, white peach, toast, and hazelnut, leading to a clean, mineral-driven finish. It pairs beautifully with dishes such as sole Véronique.
